- Hi! I’m Beth Bayer, wife, mother of 4 and grandmother of 5. I’m a graphic designer of 7 years, blogger for 6 and on top of that, I am a retired nurse. I share my Empty Nest with my wonderful husband John, and we love it!
I have oodles of experience with being an Empty Nester. My first fledgling flew the nest 20 years ago and my last just flew his half nesting 4 years ago. We have been through graduations; high school and college. We have had weddings and divorces. We have been through pregnancies and miscarriages, but through them all we have had family and love.
I wont tell you that everything is pearls and roses, because it isn’t; but it hasn’t been all puddles and poop either. Kids fly into the nest and out again bringing drama of all kinds, and Lord willing they take it back home with them when they leave.
It’s my goal to be here for you in whatever capacity you need. If you allow me to, I will be your compass. My heart always points True North.
