Visualization to manifest success – God’s way
The first step to use visualization to manifest success is to have a clear and concise goal. Visualization without a goal is day dreaming.
Let’s look first at goal setting.
Brainstorm to get a vision for your success. Success is too broad of a term to use it as a goal.
-
Set goals that are achievable.
Be as exact as possible. Does success include a certain job for you? Could it be a promotion in the job you already have?
Is success a wife/husband, children and a happy home? Will you live in the same home you live in? Are you married?
-
Write an action plan.
Every equation has step by step actions to solve the problem. Goals are the same way. Rarely is there just one thing to do to meet your goal.
Use paper and pen to write out the steps involved in your action plan. And you will need to revise it many times before you have a clear picture of success.
-
Set a date of completion.
Without a date of completion you will not have the drive to make the changes that it will take to move forward. Setting a date of completion gives you a mental finish line that can motivate you.
-
Educate yourself.
Do you need to take a course to educate you on the subject matter? If schooling is required to make you successful in your goals, plan. This will also dictate the date of completion.
-
Pursue Success.
Get to work. Success won’t come to you. What do you want out of life? Is it really a goal?
- First is a want. We want to have it. That would be nice, I wouldn’t mind. That is not a goal.
- Second is a need. I need that. I can do so much with that. I need a new car someday. That is not a goal.
- Third is to desire it and gotta have it! This stage is where you need to be if you are to goal set. If you don’t desire it and gotta have it, you won’t do whatever it is that you have to do to get it. It’s plain and simple.
We can have many goals.
Some goals are very simple, such as wanting to lose five pounds in time for swimsuit season. However others, such as changing to a new career, are more complex.
What is interesting is that you can use the same techniques to get what you want, whether your goal is big or small.
Visualization to Manifest your Success.
- PRAY FOR GOD’S PROMPTINGS. John 16:7 “when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come”. KJV
Visualization to manifest your success is the technique of picturing success in your mind in detail so that you can expect this change in your life.
By following these five steps, you’ll be able to define with clarity exactly what you want.
Engage fully in the vision.
You absolutely must put yourself into the visualization as fully as you can. Use all your senses and emotions to experience this vision in a way that is real to you. There can be no holding back here.
- Close your eyes and feel your success.
- Breathe in through your nose and out through your mouth. Smell the success. For example, if it includes a trip to the ocean, smell and taste the success in the sea air.
- Imagine how success will change your life.
- Feel your success with your whole body. Stand tall, with good posture and envision yourself as if you have already reached your goal. You are successful!
- PRAY FOR GOD’S VISION. Proverbs 29:18 “Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.” KJV
Experience different viewpoints.
What does this visualization feel like to you? Experience it first as yourself so that you can connect emotions to actions. You want to feel every part of it.
Now, step back and experience it again. As if you’re watching yourself succeed from outside of yourself, like watching a movie. Why? This helps you to see details you might miss otherwise.
Live the success.
Along with visualization, it’s time to live the part. And become the person you saw at the end of the vision. How does that person move? Think? Act?
There is a saying, “You are who you associate with”. You do not need to physically associate with successful people to be with them. This sounds strange. But give me a minute.
Choose Your Friends Wisely
Watching YouTube videos of people that are successful is a form of association. Reading books written by successful people in your field is association. Putting yourself around people who are successful in the way you see success is association.
If you do this enough you will begin to think like them, talk like them, act like them, and sometimes even look like them. Live the success.
An example of this is someone who listens to sports on the radio all the time, starts to sound like a sports caster.
Find a man or woman who you respect, that has God’s definition of success. Ask them if you can ask them questions when needs arise. They may even agree to mentor you. Godly counsel is essential to success.
Reinforce the Message
Visualization to manifest sucess needs back-up to be successful. The world is full of negative influences. And some of them might start in your own mind.
- Keep your self-talk positive,
- use affirmations, and
- Use cue cards that enforce the vision.
- PRAY FOR GOD’S GUIDANCE Psalm 121:3 “He will not let your foot slip – He that watches over you will not slumber”. NIV
Make your goal visible so you can see it frequently.
Creating a dream board or junk journal will keep your vision in a place where you are constantly reminded of it. Cut pictures out of magazines and print pictures from the internet. And paste pictures of your family in a journal or onto a poster board.
Seeing it over and over will also reinforce your goals and strengthen your resolve. Be creative! You can include not only photos but “power words,” inspiring quotes, illustrations, personal affirmations, purpose statements, or anything else that speaks to you.
PRAY FOR GOD’S STRENGTH. I Peter 4:11 “If anyone serves, they should do so with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ”.
By following these steps, you will see your success becoming more and more solid. Of course, you’re going to have to put in the work to achieve what you want. However, by using visualization, you will get a clear picture of where you’re going and how to get there.
